Imani and David's love story began in 2016 while working as event rental vendors at the same wedding at the Sheraton Park Hotel at the Anaheim Resort. At the time, Imani was building the company she had created two years prior, Platinum Prop House, while David was working as a licensed electrician and wedding equipment operator for another event rental company.
As the wedding came to an end, Imani — who was managing her business on her own without employees or staff — needed an extra helping hand during pickup. She noticed David retrieving rentals as well and asked if he could help her. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something much more meaningful, and before the night was over, Imani asked David for his number.
After courting for four months, the two officially began dating. Their very first date was at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, where they spent the day getting to know one another and creating the beginning of countless memories together.
Since then, Imani and David have remained inseparable, building a relationship rooted in love, support, friendship, and shared dreams. Now, as they prepare to welcome this beautiful new chapter into their lives, they are excited to continue sharing their journey together with the people they love most.
